The Club
The Ladies Probus Luncheon Club Harpenden is a social organisation for ladies of Harpenden and the surrounding areas to encourage friendship and widen interest through bi-monthly luncheons, coffee mornings and other social activities. It was formed in 1983 for partners of the Probus Secundus Club of Harpenden. Although membership of the ladies’ club is now no longer restricted to partners of the men’s club, the link with the men's group remains. Click here for Probus-Secundus-Harpenden website.
Bi-Monthly Luncheons and Coffees are usually held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, giving members a chance to meet and chat over a drink, enjoy excellent food and listen to a variety of speakers. The Club is governed by its Constitution, run by The Committee and led by its Chairman.
The Committee
The purpose of the Committee is to take care of the business of The Club. The Committee consists of elected officers (Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer) and further co-opted Committee members as needed.
